Success

If there is anyone reading at all, welcome me back~ For i am different. I am on a journey to achieving success.

Success? What is success many may ask. Some relate it to wealth, some to happiness, some to world domination, some to leading their small contented lives. Maybe? Well, it can be anything. It has millions and thousands of definitions. It is not defined.

But.... i am especially concern abt how wealth is a measure of success to ppl, especially singaporeans.

We have a saying. Money is not everything but u cant do without money. So singaporeans are realistic. They know they cant do without money. Henceforth there is a constant drive to earn more money and unknowingly, get caught up in the rat race.

Wealth thereafter, in a society where ppl are queueing up for condominiums and owning cars, becomes a measure for success. But in my context, wealth is a just by-product of success.

What truly is success, in my opinion is, throwing everything u have into something u believed in and want it and finally attaining that something. In other words, a mindset. With a brillant mindset that nv say die, will give u everything that u want, BUT, of coz must be something realistic. If anyone can own that mindset, he will ultimately find happiness and sense of achievement for themselves.

But back to the qns of money. It is something even though regarded as the root of evil of humans, as cruel as it is, we need it. So are u still in the comfort zone of co-inhabiting in ur parents' house and living off them, taking ur time to work out your future or have u been enlightened? If u love anything around u, u had better have plans for your future.

Start thinking mates. We only live once, young once before we grayed and fade away. Dun live ur life in regrets. Dun live to tell your kids to be better when u are old. Depressing as it may be, i would still say....
