This blog is rotting!!!!

Havent been updating my blog i see and i guess u guys my friends must be wondering what the heck have i been up to huh. Lol.

For now i have been posted to 30sce in delta coy for the past few mths and went up to Crescendo the second time in my NS liability. The duty as a specialist is mounting and stressful. Can be said i am not quite expecting it nor built for it. I have been trying to adapt to my new role and learning as much as i can, at the same time managing my life outside of camp.

I still have not done much in self-improvement and in fact slowed down for senseless fun and stepping closer to oblivion.

Currently i am undergoing a construction course in Construction Industry Training Institute(CITI) where i get to go home everyday after 5. We are to maintain attendance but ironically we are still activated to be on standby mode for our battalion. Meanwhile our course projects requires group work where we construct structures, certain days a whole bunch of us will be absent reporting back to camp, effectively putting an axe to our work for the day.

But now the course is coming to an end, and only the specs are left for further enhancements, we are waving bye bye to our pink ic lives yet again. But having gone thr this course, it made me appreciate what our dark skinned bros have been toiling for under the hot sun.

Strong sturdy buildings equates respect for them. It definitely not easy erecting the pigeon holes where we are dwelling in right now. But ha! No way would a Singaporean with qualifications take up something that tough. I am no exception. Lol.

End it, it has been quite an experience. An informative one. However this is just something passing. Our skills wont be deployed greatly in our Tekong project anyway. I hope to make the best out of my remaining liability to lead well.
